For students looking to gain additional credits or replace lost credits, the CCSD will be hosting summer school across the valley. Many high schools will remain open throughout the summer for ease of access to any and all students.

Costs for summer school consist of $100.00 per half credit and an additional $4.95 if you’re paying with a credit or debit card. There will be no refunds from any transactions. Times, classes, and locations for summer school are listed below.

• Boulder City HS
• Centennial HS
• Cheyenne HS
• Cimarron-Memorial HS
• Desert Oasis HS
• Green Valley HS
• Rancho HS
• Spring Valley HS
• Sunrise Mountain HS
• Valley HS

There will be two sessions, with the first session starting June 13th and ending June 30th. The second session will begin July 5th and conclude July 24th. The classes will be held on the regular weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. The many classes that are available for summer school are listed below.

High School Course Offerings:
• English 9, 10, 11, 12
• Pre-Algebra
• Algebra 1, 2
• Geometry
• World History
• U.S. History
• U.S. Government
• P.E. 1, 2
• Health
• Biology

Drivers Education is also available, but only at Centennial, Green Valley, and Spring Valley.
Regulations regarding student behavior during the regular school year also apply to the summer school program.

Attendance is still extremely important. If the student is missing for two days during a session, credit will be lost. Semester exams for summer school will be scheduled for June 30th – July 24th.
