New fashion trends are always on arise, and our school allows students to dress in a way that represents their personalities. Fashion trends are endless, and hypebeast, to be exact, are people who collect shoes, clothes, and accessories to impress others.

Brands such as Nike, Champion, and Adidas are all brands that are not only made for sportswear but as well as fashion.  These brands have created a great impact in the fashion world for those who like to represent the sporty-fit and brand logo vibe.

Another company, Supreme, has risen in popularity and became a bandwagon. However, students claim they don’t wear the brand because it’s popular between either their peers or social media influencers, but because they genuinely enjoy their clothing.

“I generally like the brand not because I want to be a follower or wear it to flex,” stated from Kiara Sisana, sophomore.

Students flex or show off their expensive or name brand clothing in a flashy way. This is to display how their style is a bit more expensive and how much they can afford for these trendy brand names. Items such as brand name fanny packs, sweatshirts, or shoes are often common.

“I got into fashion when I was in middle school: my passion started with my brother. He got me into high-end brands like Bape, Supreme, Kith and Y-3,”  proudly expressed, junior, Michael Enriquez.

The fashion trends at Desert Oasis are constantly evolving. When wearing a particular outfit or piece of clothing, it tends to boost ones so confidence level. Students look forward to expressing their style through the use of these expensive brands to make statements about them and their personality.

“I collect shoes because I’ve always liked how much more a good pair of shoes can bring to an outfit. I like them so much because when people look for the class they look at your shoes and if you have a nice pair of shoes your outfit feels well put together,” sophomore, Alyssa Rath, admitted.

Students have an immense passion for shoe collecting. The more shoes, the better. Being able to have a wide variety of shoes can help with preparing outfits or the final touch to ones look. It’s easier to base an outfit around the shoe ones already present with, it’s practically the key to success.

“I like shoes because they are important to the street and sports culture and I think that they can add so much to an outfit,” stated junior, Brendon Paredes.

Desert Oasis is a place where students can express themselves through clothing along the lines of dress code. Students like to flex on each other and dress themselves up for school whether it be a Nike windbreaker, or through the use of Gucci Belt.
