With the regular season coming to an end, the flag football team is headed to the playoffs. Even though the team only had two victories this season (both against Spring Valley High School), changes were made to the league allowing all teams to go to the playoffs.

Heading into the playoffs, the ladies will face Basic High School and will need to make quick improvements in order to win that match.

“For our girls to win, they need to work on their fundamentals. An improvement we made to the team was moving freshman up to varsity towards the end of the season,” Coach Sibel says.

As the flag football team keeps practicing, their techniques are able to improve before they head off into playoffs, Monday, February 11th.
After the game with Basic High, Silverado is next in line to compete. Don’t forget to wish the girls the best of luck.
