Girls volleyball loses playoffs

The varsity girls volleyball team lost against Green Valley 3-2 on Wednesday, November 6th.

The thrilling match came to end in the fifth set with the Gators winning 15-10. The Diamondbacks had a two sets to zero lead before losing a close third and fourth set.

“Knowing that it was my last game of volleyball ever, it was really sad but exciting, you know, when you wanna go out with a big bang and make sure that you put everything you had on the court,” senior Tayia Kahananui said.

Kierston-Joy Kuresa and Sophia Parlanti led the team with kills 20 and 19, respectively and Nathalie Van had a game-high 48 assists.
