Boys basketball suffers first loss

Boys basketball team suffered their first loss of the season December 5th against Durango. The team got off to a slow start falling beind 19 to 30 after the first quarter. They could never catch up after that and ended up losing 74-105.

Junior Alex Yussufu discussed that the team did not communicate that well and were not very patient which led to many turnovers.

“We had alot of unforced turnovers and struggled with ball pressure making us have a slower start,” Marcus Connolly, 12, said.

The team hopes to bounce back tonight at 6:30pm when they face off at home against Wasatch Academy from Utah.
