A week ago, Mac Millers family released a message about a tribute album that is set to come out January 17th. Originally, the album Circles was supposed to be a sequel to an album called Swimming. Circles is meant to complement Swimming and form the concept “Swimming in Circles.” Both of these albums have songs of Malcolm pouring out raw emotions and leaving him feeling vulnerable.

In the message his family sent out, they described how hard he worked on it before his passing and how this album will be different from his other ones. A producer he worked with set out to finish the album and complete Malcolm’s concept. This album will potentially help fans come at peace with his death and have a better understanding with the person he was.
