My name is Hana, and I am a freshman at Desert Oasis High School. I am from Ethiopia, born and raised. Food and music are my life. I listen to various kinds of music, but mostly alternative rock, electronic, and hip-hop music. I love meeting new people and learning about their culture and background, which is why I chose to join the journalism program. I also joined because I aspire to become a good writer. Being a bilingual student, sometimes I struggle to make sense when I speak English, which at times can be funny. I have been told that I’m very bubbly and I always trying to make others smile because there is nothing better then to see people smile for something I did.
